Welcome to Alpic
Jul 15, 2025
TLDR: We’re Alpic, the first MCP-native infrastructure platform, with a unique all-in-one and developer-centric approach. (But there’s more! You should really read on…)
___
It’s no secret that we’re witnessing one of the biggest shifts in technology use and systems. AI is replacing search in both our personal and professional lives, and we’re seeing glimpses of the first autonomous agents capable of acting on our behalf.
A new kind of user is emerging, one that doesn’t rely on screens, clicks, or traditional UIs. Instead, agents interact through AI-native interfaces, designed for speed, security, and direct access.
Whether at work or at home, users will expect their favorite services to be accessible directly in their AI tools: ChatGPT, Slack, IDEs, and beyond.
This shift is already forcing companies to adapt. Online booking platforms, e-commerce sites, ride-hailing apps, and financial services are evaluating how they’ll surface in an agent-driven world. SaaS companies, meanwhile, are imagining the next iterations of their product interfaces, realizing that the future of the dashboard might be no dashboard at all.
But the current web wasn’t built for agents: they struggle with login flows, payments, and brittle front-end logic. That’s where MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers come in, providing the interface layer for agents in the way that websites do for humans. As this new paradigm takes hold, every online business will need an MCP server to stay accessible and relevant in an AI-native internet.
We’re building the infrastructure to support this new paradigm, where MCP is the new entry point to the internet.
At Alpic, we’re building the all-in-one platform to help developers build, deploy, and monitor MCP servers at scale, with the simplicity and speed that feels like magic. In just a few clicks, your product becomes agent-ready.
To offer a parallel: we combine the ease of Vercel, the performance of Cloudflare, and the versatility of Kong’s API gateway, but purpose-built for AI-native applications. You had these platforms deploy apps for humans, Alpic is how you deploy for agents.
While most of today’s MCP activity is still at the proof-of-concept stage, real complexity is already surfacing as projects move toward production. From authentication, evaluation, versioning, and scaling to analytics, and security, we are only scratching the surface of the complexities that we will see in production.
Alpic is built with developers in mind: no lock-in, no opinionated frameworks, just powerful infrastructure that abstracts away the hardest problems so you can focus on building.
Why now?
We’re at the beginning of a massive shift. In just a few months, MCP has become the industry standard for connecting LLMs to tools and solving the famous M×N integration problem. Anthropic created MCP in late 2024, and just six months later, the entire industry had endorsed it in one of the fastest protocol adoptions ever. By early June, OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Grok and Mistral had all announced their support, cementing MCP as the new default for agent-to-app communication.
Now is the time to build the infrastructure around it.
But… why us?
Sure, we’re not the only ones who have this idea. But we believe we’re the best people to bring it to life.
First, we’ve built deep MCP expertise. We’re among the top 10 contributors to the official SDK. We’ve spent months building and deploying AI agents, MCP servers, and MCP clients to understand the pain points in production (e.g., flight booking, database retrieval, voice AI, a Slack client).
Second, this isn’t our first time using a new protocol to build core infrastructure. At our first company, Streamroot, we pioneered using WebRTC for in-browser video delivery optimization, building global software infrastructure that was used by tens of millions of viewers during some of the biggest live streaming events in the world. After being acquired by Lumen Technologies, we ran one of the biggest content delivery networks (CDNs) globally.
And we’re a great team! We have complementary skill sets, have worked together for 10+ years, weathered the ups and downs of startup life, and, well, genuinely like working together. That counts a lot when you’re building something ambitious.
So welcome to the ride! We’re happy you landed here. Have a look at our website for our full feature set and sign up for our waitlist to join our private beta!
