At Alpic, we set out to build a platform that makes deploying MCP so simple that you forget that there's infrastructure running your code. We've released a comprehensive cloud solution designed specifically for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and we're excited to walk you through our main features.

One-click deploy: your MCP server in seconds

Ease of use is our bread and butter. We've made deploying MCP servers incredibly straightforward through seamless GitHub integration.

How it works: Simply sign in to Alpic with your Github account. You'll be prompted to create a Team and add the Alpic AI app to your Github organisation, enabling seamless sync between your deployments and your git workflow. If you belong to several organizations on Github, you can link each of them.

Once you're connected, choose the organization and repository containing your MCP server. If you haven't built your MCP server yet, you can clone our Typescript or Python template to get started. Choose which branch to sync with your production environment, and go! Alpic deploys a new version whenever you push changes to this branch.

Our goal is to make MCP hosting accessible no matter what language or framework you choose to use. Alpic currently supports the two most popular runtimes for MCPs, Node.JS and Python (both the official Python MCP SDK or FastMCP). More support is coming soon. We automatically detect your MCP framework and build commands from your repository metadata. Alpic also takes take care of the transport layer, so if you build your server with stdio it will automatically support SSE and streamable HTTP. As the MCP ecosystem evolves, Alpic will keep your server compatible with new transports and protocol improvements, letting you stay focused on functionality instead of infrastructure.

Analytics: the first MCP-specific monitoring suite

Getting feedback on how an MCP server is working isn't trivial. MCP clients don't pass along much information on what happens on the user side, and understanding what happens on the server side requires getting into the weeds of the protocol.

Lucky for you, we've tried to make life a little bit easier! When designing this first version of Alpic's analytics, we set out to show you the most meaningful metrics possible: who your users are, what features of your server they are using the most, and where errors and inefficiencies are coming from.

  • Sessions: Shows MCP initialization requests broken down by client type, with time-based drill-downs and trends.

  • Requests: Number of MCP requests received, broken down by method - tools/call requests, prompts/get requests, resources/read requests, and other protocol requests indicating active usage.

  • Output tokens: Estimates token equivalent of MCP responses passed to the LLM context window, helping gauge server efficiency and identify context window bloat.

  • Request latency: Average response time in milliseconds to track user experience and spot issues after deployments.

  • MCP Errors: Protocol violations, timeouts, tools not found, and internal server errors that appear as error messages to users.

  • Tool errors: Execution errors with isError: true in the result payload, passed to the LLM as context for retry strategies.

This first set of analytics (the first on the market, by the way!) gives you understanding about how your MCP server is being used and how effectively LLMs are interacting with it.

Authentication: Alpic's DCR Proxy

Alpic natively handles authentication methods supported in MCP: API keys via HTTP headers and OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration (DCR). More importantly, for companies using IDPs that don't support DCR, we've built a delegation proxy to safely authenticate MCP clients.

AI agents break traditional OAuth models - your MCP server may be discovered by Claude today, a local dev agent tomorrow, each running at different callback URLs you can't anticipate. We built the Alpic DCR Proxy to bridge this gap. Simply issue a single OAuth client from your IdP, and leave Alpic to manage the creation of as many downstream clients as needed. We also enforce policy filtering to keep your IdP clean and manageable.

Multi-environment, teams and more…

Modern development workflows all have production, staging, dev environments that allow your teams to safely test and QA all your new features and versions. We think MCP Servers deserve the same best-practices, and that's why have multi-environment support in the Alpic platform from day one.

In addition to your main production branch, Alpic allows you to create additional environments, each linked to a different branch of your GitHub repository. These environments can act as staging areas, QA setups, or feature previews. Every environment gets its own URL and environment variables, so you can test in isolation without risk to production.

We also have full support for development teams allowing you to create separate teams for different projects, as well as add new colleagues to your projects so that you can build and iterate on your MCP servers together.
